Simple cost-savings when your life gets busy

Simon and Emma run a growing home-based, Internet business - while juggling responsibilities with childcare and renovating an old property they've purchased. The couple make dozens of calls each day to customers, suppliers, relatives and builders - while also keeping each other updated on projects and progress.

The challenge

The couple's landline and mobile phone bills have escalated - in relation to the complexity of their lives. They both realise that better phone deals are 'out there somewhere' but neither of them have time to research and change suppliers and operators. It just isn't a top priority for them right now - although the savings would be welcome.

The solution

As well as choosing a number from dmClub for their business, Simon and Emma began using dmCalls12dmCalls12: Economic outbound calling for any dmConncet12 or dmSwitchboard12 number. It only took a few minutes to create an online address book with all their speed-dial contacts. They also taught dmCalls12dmCalls12: Economic outbound calling for any dmConncet12 or dmSwitchboard12 number to authenticate the home and mobile numbers, so they don't have to enter a PIN every time they call.

Business benefits

  • The couple save £25-40 every month on calls
  • They can access all their key contacts within seconds, using the speed dial feature
